That’s another way that poorer just get bitten with higher costs. I bought a house 10 years ago and could stay there and although there are costs associated with home ownership, for me, being able to avoid moving has definitely saved me a few thousand dollars in moving costs over that time as no-one I know has been able to stay in a reasonably priced rental over the same time.
