She does mention that she isn’t that skilled yet — I’d expect that a piece from a skilled crafter would be more intricate and I’d pay more. Equally I know that when I’m learning a skill I do it a lot more slowly. I knit at about 1/8 the speed of my mother-in-law who is a very skilled knitter so if we were selling the same item mine hourly rate would be much lower. (Hers would also look much better and have less dropped stitches, hah). So I think this concern might actually not be that significant in the scheme of things.
