I always feel like the argument to control parenting quickly heads down the eugenics path. I can’t imagine how anyone can accurately judge all the resources someone has to range a child (financial, emotional and social) so I come back to the fact that parents are generally best placed to judge their own capacity to have children. Being able to raise happy children is not just a financial issue.
